Part 1: Personal Information
Name and Age: Serhat, 24
Where do you live: Istanbul, Turkey
Tell us a bit about yourself (hobbies/interests outside of WoW): Well I work full time, so I usually spend time at home after work. On weekends, in general I go out with some friends. I go cycling every other weekend, and play basketball oftenly.
Part 2: Character Information
Battle.net ID: Kairos#2290
WarcraftLogs sample: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/VP23qZNwXH96gfvB
UI Screenshot: http://oi68.tinypic.com/8ygshc.jpg
Artifact Level (MS/OS): ret 59, prot 53, holy 52
Demonstrate that you know your class well. Explain your rotation, stat priority and anything else you think is important:
Opener: Judgement, DH/BoJ, Arcane Torrent (if no 4 set t20), crusade, HP spender, WoA (if no liadrin’s ring), and goes on like this
Basically, keep CS or Zeal on cooldown, keep judgement on, never use finisher without a judgement.
There’s no definite stat priority for retribution, only mastery is low in value. You have to sim every possible gear setup to get the best result in aoe and single target.
The most important aspect of ret is to maximize performance during crusade, so it’s crucial to know when to use it, depending on the mechanics.
Part 3: Experience and Raiding
Please list your previous raiding experience and guilds. Why did you leave them:
-Squad (in a private WotLK server): http://squad-wow.tk/
End-game raiding guild, ToC hc 25-man insanity+immortality on 2 different characters (we had 3 teams)
ICC was not up yet, so we were farming ToC
-The Sun Brigade: Social, casual-raider guild. Left because they were not good at progressing.
-Resolve (current guild): 3/10 M Nighthold, 3/9 HC ToS. I want to leave because we lost many people, they got bored of the game and left. So we lack numbers right now, and progress is way too slow for me.
Are you able to make 90% of raids in a given month? Wed/Thurs/Sun 8-11pm CEST?
What responsibilities, if any, have you taken lead of during your raiding career?
I have been the raid leader of my current guild for the pas 3-4 months.
What resources do you use to improve?
I read wowhead on daily basis, check hotfixes and update logs. I read http://thesilverhand.net/ and Hammer Of Wrath paladin discord for updated information.
Part 4: Primal
Why do you think Primal is the guild for you and what do you expect from us?
I like raiding, because the feeling of getting over an obstacle, reaching a goal, achieving something satisfies me. I looked at your guild page on wowprogress, and wanted to join you because the progress impressed me. I expect a serious but fun environment, committed people and regular raids. I also like do rated BGs from time to time, so it would be nice if you had some casual PvPers.
Why should we select you?
I am a fast learner, always on track of improvement, and a friendly player. I learn from my mistakes, and I’m a dedicated player.July 15, 2017 at 20:31 #779
Forgot to mention:
Bossmod timers and boss power meter are on top left corner, and necessary weak auras for M+ and Raid Mechanics are on bottom right corner atop the meter.July 16, 2017 at 11:44 #780
Hey bud – After some discussion with our officer team, we have decided that the best course of action right now would be some further assessment. Whilst your rankings and performance are decent, there is quite a big jump from 3/9HC to 3/9M, and as such we would like to invite you to our heroic clear on Wednesday to see how you perform within our raid environment. Please get in touch with a member of the officer team if this suits you. Please note, invites for the raid go out at 19:45 ST on Wednesday.July 16, 2017 at 14:10 #781
Well 3/9 is my guild’s progress, I have 8/9 cleared and 2% best attempt on heroic KJ. Besides, first 1-2 bosses in mythic are kinda easy considering the rest, that’s why we had 3/10 M before tomb.
